Leading Change In Music Education in Manitoba

The  Manitoba Music Educators Association and the Association of Music Administrators of Manitoba conference line-up for Thursday, October 21, 2010.

This conference is seen as a compliment to TEMPO and is targeted at music administrators, team leaders, regional and local leaders in music education in Manitoba.  

The focus of this year's conference is Philosophy and Advocacy for Music Education.  It will feature an introduction of the proposed Philosophy for Music Education being adopted by MMEA. As well, Dr. Robert Duke  from the University of Texas will be a feature presenter with his topic, "Teaching like Beauty Matters".

It is the mandate of this conference to seek participation from all regions of the province, and we encourage representation from each school division.   Please consider distributing this information to interested individuals in your area.
